Mgr. Petra Panáková

Petra Panáková graduated from Comenius University Bratislava with a degree in Psychology with concentrations in Clinical Psychology and School and Educational Psychology. At the Prague College of Psychosocial Studies she extended her education with an accredited qualification course for social workers. She has since experience working with adults and adolescents in outpatient clinical practice in both Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

Petra is a participant in the long-term psychotherapy training program “Therapy in Postmodernity,” which is accredited by the Czech Association for Psychotherapy (ČAP). She is currently undergoing a year-long training in relaxation techniques, which focuses on body and breath work, training in stress relief and unwanted emotional states, autogenic training, progressive relaxation, yoga and meditation, and other topics. Her personal and professional interests include clinical psychology, psychotherapy, relationship issues, education and destigmatization in the field of Psychology.

Petra is a creative person who strives to help people with her empathy and personal approach.      This is exactly the approach she is ready to offer to her clients, giving each one her full attention with professional know-how.      

She is ready to help with better understanding hardships that occur in life, with uncovering personal potential and with finding empowerment though one’s own resources during a healing process.
