Mgr. Miroslava Pešlová
Clinical psychologist, psychotherapist, deputy director of the ambulance
Miroslava completed a single-field psychology at the FFUP in Olomouc, a certification in clinical psychology and psychotherapy training in the Art of Therapy. She gradually supplemented her education with courses (family therapy and work with the timeline, conscious body, hypnosis, non-verbal techniques and others).
Miroslava began her practice at the clinical psychologist's clinic in Most, where she was engaged in diagnostic and therapeutic work for children and adults. Subsequently, she worked as a clinical psychologist in pediatric neurology at the Motol University Hospital. She also worked at the Psychiatric Hospital in Horní Beřkovice in the men's department of addictions, where she provided group and individual therapy. In her more than 8-year private practice, where she performs individual, couple and family therapy and which continues to the present day, she focuses on psychosomatic issues, on clients with anxiety and depression. She also works with a wide range of difficult emotional states, their ventilation and processing of conflicts (inability to manage anger, etc.). The big topics are solving situations in interpersonal relationships in various contexts and topics related to self-worth and experiencing one's own meaning and existence. She also has experience accompanying clients in very demanding life situations, such as serious illness and the loss of a loved one.
"In my work, I try to approach the client with humility and support him in understanding himself and in understanding the context of his life with situations that are conflicting for him. My therapeutic path, my way of thinking and my approach to people are best described by a parable: Just as my children teach me to be a parent, just as tilling the soil teaches me to be a farmer, so clients teach me to be a therapist".
