Petra graduated in single-subject psychology from the Faculty of Arts of Palacký University in Olomouc and the Prague Psychotherapy Faculty at the Prague College of Psychosocial Studies. She completed comprehensive psychotherapeutic training in person-centered counseling (PCA) according to Carl Rogers. She has undergone training in Motivational Interviewing and a basic course in crisis intervention. She has completed several online courses in English – DBT Skills with Marsha Linehann, ACT for Perfectioners and People Pleasers and ACT for ADHD – both with Russ Harris. She has accredited coaching training at the Coaching Center Prague. She is a full member of the Czech Association for Psychotherapy.

She gained work experience during internships at the National Institute of Mental Health in Klecany and at the psychiatric department of the Regional Hospital in Pardubice. As a psychologist and psychotherapist, she worked in the clinical psychology outpatient clinic, at the NEO Center, at the Řipská Psychotherapy Center and as a school psychologist at an elementary school. She has been running a private psychotherapeutic practice for several years.

At the NEO Center, she provides individual psychotherapy and diagnostics. She offers support in the areas of mental discomfort, life changes, relationship problems, excessive stress, burnout, depression, anxiety, procrastination, perfectionism, ADHD, etc.
