Tereza has a bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Humanities of Charles University with a focus on philosophy and a master's degree from the follow-up study of Social and Cultural Anthropology. The search for her own mission later led her to the prestigious Goldsmiths University in London. There, as part of her second master's degree, she underwent self-experiential psychotherapy training in Dance Movement Psychotherapy.
In London, she utilized her work experience as a Dance Movement Psychotherapist (TPP) in a primary school for children with special needs, in an asylum for abused and abused women, in a hospital ward for the elderly suffering from advanced cognitive impairment and permanent psychological problems, and with clients in a private home seniors suffering from dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Tereza works individually and with groups.
In TPP, Tereza combined her two passions – dance and the desire to help others:
"I work with clients in a safe and confidential space, where movement is a means of establishing a therapeutic relationship and expressing inner experiences. Through symbolic movement/dance, the body becomes a place of transformation. This process deepens the awareness of one's own self and teaches one to deal with complex emotions."
Tereza is constantly furthering her education. She is close to Jungian analysis, Ecopsychology and psychosomatic work. She could not live without nature, which is why she also offers her clients the opportunity to exchange the therapy room for the forest.
