Jakub Korčák graduated from the Third Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in the field of General Medicine and enrolled in professional practice training in the field of Psychiatry. 

Jakub started working at the Horní Beřkovice Psychiatric Hospital in 2013.  In 2015, he accepted a position at the National Institute of Mental Health, where he was engaged in clinical activities as well as postgraduate studies and scientific research.

Jakub continued his doctoral studies at the Third Faculty of Medicine with a chosen concentration of Neuroscience. His thesis subject was Electrophysiology and Psychadelics (studies not completed to date).

In 2020, Jakub took parental leave; and now, since the summer of 2021, he has also been working part-time in the Outpatient Department of Child and Adolescent Addictology, Clinic of Addictology, at the General University Hospital in Prague.

He is in accredited psychotherapy training at the Society for Logotherapy and Existential Analysis.
