Ondřej Dočekal

Ondřej Dočekal has been working in the helping profession, mainly with substance abusers, for over 20 years. On the basis of his experience from his not very orderly adolescence he started working with at-risk youth and for 15 years he worked as a sociotherapist, individual and group therapist at the Sananim Day Care Centre, then for 2 years he participated in individual group work at the Drop-in Aftercare Centre, o.p.s. He has been part of the NEO Centre since 2021 and is currently seen in both residential treatment and outpatient clinic.

He has received training in SUR group therapy and training in Pesso-Boyden psychomotor psychotherapy, Remedium crisis intervention course, Trauma1, Trauma2 course there and “Irish Seminar: Motivational Interviewing”.

She tries to help her clients to become “good drivers of their own lives” with a personal approach.

He has also worked in many non-therapeutic professions. His original plan to be a history teacher has changed: he has been a gardener, a rigger in the woodworking industry, and one of the first sellers of instant noodle soup. In his spare time he finds pleasure in experiencing all the different shades of family life, music, working with metal.
