Eliška Šťastná graduated from the Third Medical Faculty of Charles University in the bachelor’s program of General Nursing. Subsequently, she continued her studies at the First Medical Faculty of Charles University in the master’s program for Addictology. In her last year, she interned at the Bohnice Psychiatric Hospital.     

Her first job after obtaining her master’s degree was with the Department of Addictology, Men’s Ward, run by the First Medical Faculty of Charles University. She spent more than two years in this      Department.

Eliška is currently a participant in the ongoing Psychodynamic Psychotherapy training by the Prague School of Psychosocial Studies. During her time at the Department of Addictology she also completed a course in Crisis Intervention.

As she is used to working as part of a multidisciplinary team, Eliška especially values good teamwork. She has a kind and humane approach to her clients and can also be listening and patient. She emphasizes individuality when working with her clients and seeks to respond to her different clients’ needs as individuals.
